About this event

Indie • Punk • Rock

The stars aligned, the lads are still alive, and 30 years on, we’re doing the thing. Wasted Youth went from the garage to the Big Day Out stage within 3 years. They
recorded a full length album and toured Australia supporting Suicidal Tendencies before graduating high school. Along the way they supported acts such as
Silverchair, You Am I, Bad Religion, Jebediah and The Baby Animals. In 1997 they won a West Australian Music Industry award for Most Promising Act (other winners
include Tame Impala and San Cisco)… then split up the week after!
Saturday November 14th 2026, Wasted Youth will reunite at The Carine Tavern to perform Dead Horse in full. This special event will celebrate the album’s 30th
anniversary, just down the road from that same garage they first met as fresh face teens.

Dust off the flannel. Dig out the band tee. Come for the music, stay for the memories. Support from Stone Cold Super Friends.
